Evaluation of Electric Bike Use at Three Kaiser Permanente NW Employment Centers in Portland Metro Region

Summary:

Study participants were issued an electric bicycle for 10 weeks, then surveyed to evaluate how their perceptions and levels of cycling changed. After receiving electric bicycles, participants biked more often and to more places, became more confident bicyclists, and cited fewer barriers to cycling.
