A field next to 12 miles of existing single track in Theodore Wirth Park will be transformed into a bicycle pump track and skills park, adding to existing outdoor recreation options in this urban area in north Minneapolis. Once complete, The Loppet Foundation will use the public park year-round as an instructional space to teach bicycling skills to youth and adults and to provide a training location for middle and high school mountain bike teams.
